It's not in the Bible, but...

I was harping on about how I'd left Oasis UK after 4 years, whereas if I'd have stayed for 5, I'd have qualified for a free picture frame. I know, what an incentive, eh?! Then at my leaving drinks on Friday, I was handed not just a picture frame, but a personalised cartoon in it from my good friend John Byrne. My photo here isn't brilliant... but the cartoon is. Cheers to one and all who had a hand in it, for the drinks too, and the memories!

Today I'd like to mention a website I've just created for my friend, Diane Brookens. No poet paints on a broader canvas than she does... And speaking of paint, I'm *particularly* pleased with the colour scheme on this little effort. In fact, I'm amazed; I think it was inspired by God, he can certainly take the credit, anyhow. I'm planning on doing much more bespoke web design over the coming months - email me for a free consultation or a quote.

Vera Drake. Go see it.

Vera Drake. An astonishingly beautiful film. Tragic, yet beautiful. I love the character portrayals, the plentiful cups of tea, the 1950s sets, the simplicity of the story, the poignancy of the dinner party scenes. If you can, go see it.
