I'm now thirty. But that didn't stop the man who came to read the electric meter last week from asking me if my parents were in.
'I need their permission before I step inside,' he said innocently.
I'm sure I could trade off my babyface looks to sell Nivea anti-ageing cream, or something...
that's really funny! i turned 30 this year too, but people always guess me at 24. they've been guessing 24 for the past 3 years. i must be stuck there.
the sad thing is that the first time i bought drinks and wasn't carded (had to show i.d.) was right after my 30th birthday. :-(

I know the feeling Jon - i turn 38 tomorrow ( I KNOW - you'd NEVER guess) and people STILL ask me for ID when i go into pubs.
